Roger McGuinn began his musical journey in the folk music world, performing and writing songs for notable folk artists such as The Limeliters and The Chad Mitchell Trio.<BR><BR> In 1964, McGuinn teamed with Gene Clark and David Crosby to form The Jet Set. But after a screening of The Beatles' first feature film "A Hard Day's Night", McGuinn caught the vision of a new sound, that of folk music with a rock 'n' roll beat. Shortly after that, The Byrds took flight.
