      <title>Billie Joe Armstrong</title>
      <body>Billie Joe Armstrong was born Febuary 17, 1972 in California. He is the youngest of six children. His father was a truck driver and his mother was a musician and a waitress at a cafe.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Billie Joe started his singing career at the age of five and always sang his favorite song 'Look For Love'. He went to hospitals and sang to the patients to keep them happy. In September of 1982, Billie Joe's father passed away. The last present Billie Joe received from his father was an electric guitar that Billie Joe calls Blue. In the fith grade in the school cafeteria, Billie Joe met Micheal Pritchard. We now know Micheal Pritchard as Mike Dirnt. Billie Joe wrote his first song that got recorded when he was fifteen. In high school, he dropped out because he wanted to play music and then got together with his friends Mike and John Kiffmeyer and made the band Sweet Children. John dropped out of the band to go to college and the Sweet Children got a new drummer. Tre` Cool. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In 1990 the band changed their name to Green Day. &lt;br&gt;</body>
