Larry Norman reached recognition in 1968 with his band People and their national hit "I Love You". Today he is referred to as the father of Christian Rock music. Seriously ill for years, Larry insisted on still recording and doing the occasional concert. He succumed to heart failure in February of 2008 at the age of 60.
