<body>First things first, they were supported by Skindred and Ill Nino.

I was not expecting POD to be as they were, or the crowd to react like they did. I'd listened to their latest album and I thought it was pretty good. I was a bit sceptical about going to their gig as they are a Christian band and I thought it wouldn't be my cuppa tea. I was wrong. I can't remember what they opened with now, but it was good. It is the most violent gig I have been to so far in terms of the mosh pit. Everyone just went mental. The slam pit was crazy, people getting thrown a pushed everywhere. I went crowd-surfing and got badly punched in the face, and my friend, Anthony, went crowd-surfing and ended-up in hospital with concussion and head and neck wounds. He only got to see POD's first song. Notable songs from the gig were &quot;Alive&quot;, &quot;Youth Of The Nation&quot; and &quot;Satellite&quot;. It was not only an excellent musical experience but quite a spiritual one as it was amazing to see how a religious band such as this could bring all these people together and have them sing and chant in unison. One of my other accompanying pals went crowd-surfing straight into Sunny's (the lead singer) arms. Excellent.</body>
