ScottishPower Pipe Band is one of the world's top pipe bands and have been regular and consistent prize winners in all major pipe band championships. The band placed 5th at last years World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland and recently won the coveted All Ireland Championship taking the trophy out of Ireland for the first time in 50 years. In previous years the band has twice been Runner-Up in the World Pipe Band Championships and were Cowal Champions in 1999. The band is in great demand throughout the world and has performed in the United States, Canada, Japan, China and many European countries.
