Titled Ku Mohon, it sports a rather cloudy-dark cover and describing it as 'an album of HOPE. a prayer for STRENGTH'. I suppose this reflects her personal experience of late. <p> The album has twelve titles including a prologue and a special version of the single title Ku Mohon. Currently, the Ku Mohon single is one of the favs on the radio stations. The first time I heard the song was at the opening of the Commonwealth Games at Bukit Jalil. Being Sheila's first attempt at writing her own lyrics, I was duly impressed. Ku Mohon reflects her sensitivity and hope and faith in God at all times. <pre> Ku Mohon Oh, Tuhan terangkan hati dalam sanubariku untuk menempuhi segala hidup penuh cabaran ini Oh, Tuhan ku berserah segalanya kepadamu agar jiwa ku tenang dengan bimbinganmu selalu </pre> This single is followed by Rahsia Hati, a lively and meaningful jazz number accompanied by the voices of her children. Again, Sheila has penned the lyrics herself and potrays the love of a mother for her children. The jazzy tune gives a balance to the sentimental lyrics. Sheila has also penned a sentimental song for her late father aptly titled Rindu Untuk Ayah; once again emphasizing on her family values. <p> Those who are fans of Indonesian Jazz will love Jujur Saja and Catat written by Odie Agam and beautifully performed by Sheila. Other titles include Camar by Jenny Chin- an easy listening tune about the beauty of the seagull's song, Jatuh Cinta by Ajai/ Nasser Abu Kassim, Di Suatu Masa by Mac Chew/ Sheila, Umaraku by Hari Haze Krish Menon/ Habsah Hassan - A tribute to M'sian Athletes at the recent KL Commonwealth Games (which was also performed at the Games' Opening). <p> All in all, Ku Mohon reflects the maturity of Sheila Majid and all the songs have been well performed.
