Released shortly before the acclaimed Mellon Collie double CD, <b>Pisces Iscariot</b> is a collection of rave and previously unreleased material. Though originally planned to quiet a demanding fan base, this album was seen by reviewers as an "evolution of the band".

"Landslide" is a Fleetwood Mac song, and "Girl Named Sandoz" is an Animals cover. The 12" vinyl LP also included a 7" LP containing "Not Worth Asking" and "Honeyspider II" both contained on earlier cassettes and demos and remastered for this special release.
