Along with fellow trombonists Rebecca Phillips, Michael Piersol, and Brad Wall, the quartet has performed on numerous university recitals, FSU Prism concerts, and promotional videotapes.
Once singled out as a trombonist for the Honors Chamber Winds Program, Edward served as teacher and masterclass coach for four years at the FSU Summer Music Camps. His performance experience includes solo recitals and chamber music at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, jazz camps at Birmingham's City Stages, numerous college honor bands, Alabama All-State Orchestra, Alabama All-State Band, Alabama Youth Symphony, BAY Theater Company, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Keystone Brass Institute, as well as a variety of musicals, opera orchestras, symphonic bands, jazz bands, trombone choirs, and the Marching Chiefs at FSU.

Owner and webmaster of Awesome Trombone Links since 1995, Edward continues his research and collection of trombone pedagogy at AwesomeTromboneLinks.net. He stays plugged in by writing articles, and serving as the trombone editor for the Open Directory Project (dmoz.org), and the Open Music Project (musicmoz.org). He is a contributing musician at About.com where he is listed in the Musicians' Exchange as a Trombone Expert.
Edward graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida with a Bachelor's of Music Education in 1997.
