... According to a representative from Positive Tone, the group's recording label, "Only Dancin" is something that is surely unexpected seeing that the boys have applied their trademark smooth harmonies onto an infectious '70s groove. To add to the change of direction, they have also roped help from Eddie Marzuki and Jay Jay to add to the "classic" feel of the tune. The single is currently available at all major stores nationwide, so you might just want to go out and try getting your hands on a copy. The single also includes short snippets of other key tracks in "BrandNuEndo."

"BrandNuEndo," which has been in production for two years now, does not only mark the producing debut of Innuendo, it also features a more mature and solid songwriting from the vocal group. Most of the tracks are penned by the members of Innuendo along with collaboration with Positive Tone's head honcho, Ahmad Izham Omar, except "Gemawan," which is penned by Azlan A.Hassan and Azalea.

"BrandNuEndo" has 15 tracks (11 tunes and 4 interludes) in both English and Malay. There are also some hidden tracks

User Reviews:

Definitely brand new!

Innuendo, one of the top boy bands in Malaysia a few years back has made a come back after a long silence. This time, with a brand new beat and style in a new approach, both in musical and compilation arrangement. I must say that this is quite a daring move, because it will definitely create an impact so great on their fans that they will eventually have to decide whether or not to hang on to their idol's music makeover.

Comprising of 15 songs, the album can be divided into two different styles of music and singing. The first half is more lively and catchy, with songs threading somewhere along the line pop rock. The second half, on the other hand bears some familiar resemblance to their previous album, with their trademark of 'sway to the beat' R&B.

The management of songs for this album is quite different as compared to other albums in store. In fact it even comes close to the typical OST ( Original Soundtrack ) structure. Insinuation of 'Back to the future' feel and themes set in the movies can be identified. With this, I suppose Innuendo intended to make a loud return with something different to offer.

Aside from the change in the album's structure and music arrangement , I must say that their creativity has evidently been taken to greater heights. This can be noticed in the increase of accompanying instruments in their songs and also some international flavour (ala French and Italian) spotted in "Trois, a number done with singers Lolita & Virginie. Quite impressive and exotic I'd say . Something different and unique.

All in all I'd rate this album with 3 out of 5. It may not be as great as their previous album "Innuendo" but credit should be given on the attempt to offer something new and unique. For all of Innuendo fans out there, this album is definitely worth a check.
