How The West Was Won DVD , A Visual Documentry. Led Zeppelin!

As I sit here and listen to the compact disc of "How the West was Won", I can not help but think of the dvd I had the chance to see over the holiday weekend. I purchesed this dvd without having anything to play it on. Yet through friends I had the opportunity to veiw it, and to say the least, I was taken aback with what I saw! Not only did it re-kindle my interest in a band I've been into for well over twenty years, yet it brought a new light on four individuals that I TRULEY WORSHIP. The material that is covered, is unbelieveable. From 1969 at the Denmark session's to their final Swan Song in 1979-1980. I was all most driven to tears during John Bonham's drum solo "MOBY DICK", it reminded me of how accomplished he really was! Though I wasn't able to see the band live, this completely made up for any time lost. On disc #2, well what can I say? complete brilliance! From the opening of THE IMMIGRANT SONG, to the subtle essence of their acoustic set. And not to be forgotten the KNEBWORTH FESTIVAL, Footage which really showed them at their resurgence as a band. Considering they didn't put anything out for nearly two year's, by that time. And to come back and show the globe that they will still knock you out a second time. It is really a pleasure to veiw. Before I submit this I want everyone to know that they are still with us, and they will not go away no matter what happens. And, I myself, am very happy to know that in this day and age there is still a band around that plays this thing called music. For all the teens out there and all the twenty something's, throw away everything that you refer to as "MUSIC" and go get the compact disc and dvd entiteled "HOW THE WEST WAS WON", by the band called LED ZEPPELIN and start your music collection from there. I promise that you will not be dissapointed. I suggest also, hearing the compact disc first. Hightlights: OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY, DAZED AND CONFUSED, not to be mistaken by the movie. SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU, DANCING DAYS! And off of the dvd, go to the "EARLS COURT" section and the KNEBWORTH FESTIVAL section! The song does remain the same, doesn't it!
