1943 - 1960: Chuck Girard

Chuck Girard is born August 27, 1943, in Los Angeles. His family moved around Southern California in the following years, settling in Santa Rosa, a town north of San Francisco.

1961: Castells

Chuck Girard, while only a senior in high school, and his band The Castells scores two Top 20 hits with the songs "So This Is Love" and "Sacred".

1964: Hondells

The Hondells break into the top twenty nationwide with the song "Go Little Honda". Chuck does the lead vocals but does not tour with the band.
1968: Love Song Formed

In the years following Chuck's moderate success, he forms a group called Love Song to play around the Los Angeles area. The band includes bassist Jay Truax and drummer John Mehler.
1972: "Love Song" Released

1974: "Final Touch" Released

1977: "Feel The Love" Released

1994: "Welcome Back" Released
