Gravity

Raine Maida has proved once again that he is one of the most amazing lyricists out there today. Each and every song on this album is of top quality. The sounds, the words...everything blends together to create exceptional songs. They've changed their sound, but if you have a history with the band, you know that every Our lady Peace album is neither better or worse than the last, just different. Producer Bob Rock(Metallica, the Cult) helped the band simplify their sounds, all the while holding on to their distinctive style. Gravity has the all out rockers-"All For You","Do You Like It", one of my favorites on the album, and "Made of Steel" mixed in with some mid-tempo tunes like "Innocent" and "Sell My Soul". Gravity is perhaps the most main-stream sounding Our Lady Peace album to date, but the band hasn't abandoned their distinctive sound. "Bring Back The Sun" sounds a lot like a song Oasis would sing, but at the same time, it is screaming Our lady Peace. I definitely recommend this album, as well as all the other Our Lady Peace albums.
