Biography: Sascha Lappessen
Sascha was born on June 10th 1970 in the town of Nettetal, near Düsseldorf in Germany. After attempting to follow his father's footsteps in a career as an electrician, he started as a light jockey in the Kaldenkirchen Kings nightclub, where he met Thomas Lüdcke and Dirk Sengotta, who together started the Careca project. This was short-lived, however, with their only single "Indian Rave" failing to get much recognition. After forming Sash! in 1995, Sascha became the front man of the group, so he therefore appears in the videos and interviews. He married in April 2000 to his wife Mabel, a dancer in the Spanish pop group Loona.Contributed by: Neil Turner (totalxsive)
