Gone At Last
'Gone At Last', a duet with Phoebe Snow, was originally planned to be sung with Bette Midler but Simon and Midler couldn't agree on the arrangement of the song.
This was the first Paul Simon single which was released before the album it appeared on (Still Crazy After All These Years (1975)), although Take Me To The Mardi Gras had appeared on 'There Goes Rhymin' Simon' (1973).
