Musical Mania Summer Day Camp
Musical Mania is an exciting summer performing arts program giving children the chance to write, produce, and perform an original musical in five fun-filled days. The program provides opportunities for children to participate in group music workshops, drama, set design, movement, and costume creation. Musical Mania is open to children ages 7 –12 with an interest in learning new skills relating to music, art, and drama. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are also a must! How to teach music to young children
Young children need music learning to capture their imagination. I have found the answer to making music fun for young musicians. It's called Poco a Poco. These fine music resources have transformed my teaching. I have been able to engage my younger students with activities and worksheets, composing and performing. There are 4 programs: Rhythm and Note Values, Musical Instruments, Notation and Pitch (Treble Clef) and Notation and Pitch (Bass Clef). I have been through the whole program with some students and printed off other sections for older students. I have used the program with beginners, piano and flute students.
