Stolen Roses

A collection of covers that had been recorded or performed before this record was thought of (except for the Persuasions cut, which was done for this record first and then appeared on their album of Grateful Dead songs). All are studio, except for the Bob Dylan cut which is not only live but apparently taken from a (noisy) audience tape. Not every cut was previously released. The cover of "High Time" is performed by original cast (San Jose Stage Company) of the musical play "Cumberland Blues" by Michael Norman Mann, inspired by and incorporating songs of the Grateful Dead. Out of print as of spring 2004
