Garage Rock
Inspired by the British Invasion bands, a number of American bands formed to perform a simple, raw form of rock & roll in the mid-'60s. This form of music made a revival in the 80s and, though not a potent force in the commercial music scene, certain artists have developed a cult following.Subcategories:
