This is a repository of "unhealthy" categories that are in dire need of help in reducing unreviewed, and/or building empty profile categories. The statistics (sites/new/fish) for each category are updated regularly.
Just because a category is listed doesn't mean Metas will auto-approve people for them!
These categories will be treated like any other category by metas when approving/rejecting category requests.
You should apply for categories that have about the same number of sites as you have edits- e.g. if you have 115 edits, and the category has 123 sites, you should apply.
Howerer, if you have 53 edits, you SHOULD NOT apply for for a category with 58,000 sites, even if an editor is needed.
The statistics for each category are updated daily.
When you are accepted to a category, be sure to post to [future thread in General] , to let us know, so that we can take it off the list.
