Shadowland
lang, who had for years idolized Patsy Cline, traveled to Nashville to record this album with Owen Bradley, Cline's producer. Although lang had named her band The Reclines after the late singer, this was her first album without them. Bradley put together The Nashville String Machine for accompaniment, assembled The Jordinaires as backup singers, and brought in three country music legends for the final medley. All of the songs on this album are covers of old country hits.
