Massive Attack made their mark as one of the pioneering forces behind the rise of trip-hop. Their history dates back to 1983 with the formation of the hip hop soul collective 'Wild Bunch' in Bristol (UK). Massive Attack's first album, 'Blue Lines', is released in 1991. Their influence can beheard in the music of several groups today, including Portishead and Tricky.
