To a Beautiful Place and Back Again
Dripping with seductive vocals, gorgeous keys, soulful guitars, and a heart beating rhythm section.
Desire sets the mood perfectly, and is probably the strongest track, although my personal favourite is Moment Vs. Tomorrow, with it's trickling keys and soulful trumpet arrangement (Ephraim Owens). Dreamscape Waltz is a beautiful instrumental, and ends with some inspirational whispers. You and Me is one of the live tracks, and features the sitar and Middle Eastern inspired vocals. The other live track is Find You, and is another of my favorites. It starts out with a dreamy jazz feel, and scatting vocals. The guitar solo tries to drag you away from that, but then the keys bring you back. The first This Or That mix is more driving, with some serious weighing of consequences going on, where as the 4 track version is more mellow, and an excellent closer.
Chapter One: Desire is without a doubt, poetry in motion, and a must on your frequent rotation list.
