Slim Whitman Singles & Extended Plays (EP) were released in a lot of Countries & Labels World wide

The first recorded song by Slim Whitman Was "Way Down in Florida that's the only place to Be" a private recording on the Florida Music Enterprise Label, It was not available as a public release.
All recordings of this song on CDs have been remastered from a 78 held by the 'Slim Whitman Collectors International' and was first released to the public on the Bear Family's "I'm a Lonely Wanderer" Box Set in 2002.

The next 10 songs recorded were for the RCA Victor Label and were first released in the 1949-1951 period.
Then in 1952 Slim signed up with Imperial and has been with that group of companies ever since and has recorded another 529 songs (543 songs if you count the duets with son Byron, or with Viriginia Lee as seperate songs).

All 78s and most 45 were released in plain covers, where/when available Cover/Jacket art will be shown.

Most of the Singles were also released on many albums, where released on album details are given it is (in most cases) the first release on an album of the song that is given.
