The Very Best of Slim Whitman was first released in 1974 in the USA as a 12 track album, followed by a 20 track version released in England in 1975 and a 10 track abridged version in 1980 than in 1985 Star Blend Records released a 14 track version. The CD released in 1998 has a completely different track list.
